WEBINAR ON MODERN AGRICULTURE

How do we see the future of agriculture?

Let’s get a glimpse of it in our webinar. Healthy regionally produced food, sustainability without agrochemicals, and combining ancient principles of nature with modern technology. All of this represents modern agriculture.

WE ARE FUTURE FARMING

Modern agriculture is the hope for a more fertile and healthier future

As the human population grows, it needs more and more food. Conventional farming can only face this challenge for a while, and, moreover, it is essentially undermining our food self-sufficiency by what it leaves behind.

Large-scale agriculture is depriving itself of a future

Large-scale farming is deprived of a sustainable future in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and elsewhere in the world. Traditional agriculture is still operating in the same way, with no regard for nature and no prospect of improvement.

Decimation of agricultural areas

Excessive consumption of fresh water

Excessive fish kill in farms

Low production of high-quality food

Modern agriculture - a hope for humanity and a sustainable path

At a time when conventional farming is catching up on declining yields through practices heading for an even higher crisis, modern farming technologies represent one of the few hopes for the future. Hope for our food self-sufficiency and the healing of a landscape decimated by artificial fertilisers, sprays, and other chemicals.

  • MODERN TECHNOLOGIES

Modern agriculture is based on the technologies of aquaponics, hydroponics and RAS. Aquaponics employs the natural symbiosis of animals and plants: fish bred in fresh water on the one hand, and lettuce or herbs grown in an organic fertiliser solution on the other hand. Hydroponics also allows us to grow fruiting vegetables in a pure way, and RAS is one of the most humane ways of fish breeding.

  • SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

We save huge volumes of water and hectares of land without agrochemicals. What’s more, we achieve high production of unrivalled quality food under local conditions. All this is possible all year round, regardless of the weather.

  • WE WILL EXPLAIN EVERYTHING IN THE WEBINAR

In the webinar, we will discuss the situation of domestic agriculture, mention problems with food quality, the current state of soil, and the lack of water. We will describe the technologies of aquaponics, hydroponics and RAS, their main advantages and current pitfalls. We will show you DIY systems with which you can start home aquaponics or hydroponics, as well as the large-scale farms of Future Farming, products from which you can taste under the brand Farmia Food.

The webinar will be hosted by

Nina Hájková

My name is Nina Hájková, and I will guide you through the world of aquaponics.

That is why I started looking for answers to the questions you may be asking yourself:

  • What is the origin of the food on our market?

  • How is it grown and what does the food actually contain?

  • How far does this food travel before it lands on our plates? And what happens to it along this journey?

  • Why is domestic agriculture unable to compete with the foreign offer? What is the obstacle?
